Most graph paper problems are about fitting more onto a page. Occasionally the problem is the opposite: a grid that has to be legible at a distance, or forgiving of a child's motor control, or large enough to cut around.
Two centimetres gives nine squares across a Letter sheet inside the margin. Print it on Letter and you have an early years worksheet; print it on A3 or Tabloid and you have a wall chart.
Every sheet here is free, adjustable and prints at exact scale.
2 cm by default, which is about 3/4 inch. You can push it further — up to 5 cm — if you need a genuinely large grid.
A3 or Tabloid. Both carry their exact dimensions in the PDF, so a large format printer or plotter will not rescale them.
