Graph paper gives you squares; a table gives you rows and columns sized to what goes in them. Choose up to 60 rows and 15 columns and the table fills the page, every row the same height and every column the same width unless you say otherwise.
The header row is half as tall again as the others and lightly shaded, so column names stand apart from the data. A set first column width gives names, dates or labels the room they need while the other columns share what is left, and a title line above the table gives the sheet a heading.
