Most home printers do not take A5 stock, and they do not need to. Print the A5 PDF onto A4 at Actual size and you get a correctly sized A5 sheet sitting in the corner of a larger page, ready to trim.
What matters is not scaling it. Choosing Fit to page would blow the A5 sheet up to fill A4, which is a 41% enlargement and destroys the grid spacing.
Every sheet here is free, adjustable and prints at exact scale.
Print the A5 PDF onto A4 at Actual size, then trim. Two-up printing works too, but check that your driver is not scaling to fit.
