20x20 Coordinate Plane on US Letter, exactly as it prints.
A −10 to 10 grid is the classroom default, and it runs out quickly: a steep line leaves the page after a few points, and a translated or enlarged shape lands off the edge. Doubling the range to 20 keeps those on the sheet.
The cost is square size. Forty squares across a Letter sheet makes each about 4.7 mm — fine for plotting with a sharp pencil, small for young children, for whom the 0 to 10 first-quadrant grid is kinder.

People use it for both. This sheet runs from −20 to 20 on both axes; set the axis range to 10 for a grid that is 20 squares across in total.
Set Number every to 1. At this size the labels get crowded, so every 2 or every 5 is easier to read.
Turn Show numbers off. The axes and arrows stay and the labels go, which is the usual form for a test.
